Creating your own Bird Willow Sculpture with artist Helen Colletta
We are delighted to announce the first of a series of creative workshops to be held at Branches Park. We begin by welcoming the super- talented willow artist, Helen Colletta to the Estate.
Helen is a Suffolk-based willow sculpture artist who creates bespoke commissions using locally grown willow. Her sculptures take inspiration from her love of animals and the natural world. Helen has a wonderful ability of giving her creations their own expression and personality.
During the workshop, you will learn under Helen’s expert guidance how to design, plan and create a willow bird sculpture of your own - taking inspiration from your surroundings at Branches Park Estate.
Your day will include a lavish grazing-style lunch, served from our newly renovated Pond Barn, taken al fresco should weather permit.
Tickets are £125 p/p and include: welcome tea, coffee and treat, the creative workshop (including all materials), a grazing-style lunch and your very own willow creation to take home.

9.30am-10am
Join us at the Breeze House for welcome teas, coffees and treats.
10am-12.30pm
Helen will host the morning part of the workshop showing you the basic techniques needed to build your own bird sculpture, ready to start weaving.
12.30pm-1.30pm
Enjoy a grazing-style lunch with friends, served from the newly-renovated Pond Barn.
EXAMPLE MENU - Grazing lunch (Vegan and vegetarian options are also available)
- Asian beef salad with fresh herbs
-Chargrilled chicken with smoked romesco and pickled onion
-Roast butternut salad with burrata , pistachio pesto
- Charred Tenderstem broccoli with soy dressing
- Potato salad with quails egg and asparagus
- Served with fresh focaccia
- Zingy lemon tart with fresh raspberries
1.30pm-3pm
You will return for the second half of the workshop in our Events Tipi, to add the finishing touches to your sculpture.
